City to host community meeting on Tiffany Park plat tonight

tiffany The City of Renton is hosting a community meeting on the Tiffany Park Preliminary Plat at 6 p.m. tonight, Tuesday Sept. 9, at the Tiffany Park Elementary School cafeteria.

cheap tiffany jewellery At issue are plans to develop a 21-acre piece of land locate din the middle of the neighborhood. The land was formerly owned by the Renton School District, but sold in 2013 and is now slated to host up to 98 new homes.
tiffany and co sale Located near Tiffany Park Elementary School in the Benson Hill Neighborhood and formerly owned by the Renton School District and bordered on two sides by a pair of pipelines. Residents use the land as an informal park and hiking trail.
sterling silver tiffany Thus far, the City has not taken any action on the project. The project has been accepted for review, but no determination has been made.
tiffany sale However, the land is zoned R-8 and the city cannot preclude development on the property as long as it complies with all regulations and codes.
According to a flyer produced by the City, the City's review of the proposed project is limited to regulations in the Renton Municipal Code and the State Environmental Police Act.
The applicant has submitted all necessary reports and the City has conduected independent secondary reviews of the transportation and wetlands reports because of concerns from the community.
All reports are available at City Hall.
The pubic process is still open on the project as well and comments are still being accepted.
