I agree with some of your points as to what I personally call certain hammers but quite a bit of research went into the names and alternate names. Many were surprising to me as well. Where a certain name is used in the construction industry, a different name is often used by the general public. I tried to use as many alternate names as I could to help users identify various hammers. Have an abundance of stems and seeds to play with? Consider eating it.
