Those banners which planes carry in the sky are huge, and if effectively done, my hypothesis states you can make a banner which can clean air pollutants out of the air simply by flying it around and the particles being purified and syphoned out of the air. Given some amounts of carbon are good in the atmosphere perhaps something like this could help to regulate the amounts.
