If your eyesight is bad, and in dark maps you can't see what's going on. Then, you need adjust brightness of your screen, so why this game doesn't have brightness or gamma adjustments? Many people who look for cheap PoE Orbs buy online do so to build up this starter build to epic proportions!

.) Check if you're using dx9 or dx11 (last entry in the PoE graphics options)
.) Download & execute reshade
.) Press 'Select Game' navigate to your PoE game directory and choose one of the executables (the one with x64 in its name if you're using directX 11 otherwise the other)
.) Press one of the Direct 3D ... radio buttons on the bottom, depending on the directX version determined in 1.)
.) Press 'Yes' on the following prompt (downloading a collection of standard effects)
.) Press 'Uncheck all' in the window that opens after the download finishes
.) Scroll until you see 'LiftGammaGain.fx' and check the checkbox before it, then press 'OK'
.) Close the installer and start PoE
.) Once PoE has started press Shift + F2 to open the configuration menu overlay
.) Follow the tutorial instructions given to you in the overlay
.) Once you've created a preset and enabled LiftGammaGain (per the tutorial) it should look something like this:
.) Change the values in the second row (RGB Gamma) to a uniform value >1 that is bright enough (either hold down LMB and drag your mouse or Ctrl + LMB on the value to edit it directly)
.) Go to settings and change 'Configuration Mode' (3rd entry) to 'Performance Mode '
.) Close the overlay by pressing Shift + F2 again

Light radius is not the same. Get a bunch of light radius and do something dark, like gruthkul. It does jack shit to being able to see. But the real issue is that light radius is not a gameplay modifier. It's a player impact modifier. You could imagine other such mods like "cannot use the right mouse button skill slot" or "cannot use odd numbered keys."
